Turiner Autosalon

Der Turiner Autosalon, offiziell Salone dell’automobile di Torino, war eine weltweit bekannte Automobilausstellung (Fachmesse für Automobile) in der italienischen Stadt Turin. Sie fand offiziell erstmals vom 21. bis 24. April 1900 bis ins Jahr 2000 in Turin statt und wurde dort in der Regel jährlich (Ausnahmen siehe unten) abgehalten.
Zunächst diente die Fahrzeugmesse vor allem der Präsentation von Fahrzeugmodellen, Prototypen und Designstudien einheimischer Kraftfahrzeughersteller und Karosseriebauunternehmen. Später präsentierten dort auch zahlreiche ausländische Hersteller ihre Produkte. Im Jahr 2002 sowie in den darauffolgenden Jahren fiel die Ausstellung mangels Interesses der meisten italienischen Automobilhersteller sowie der allgemeinen Konjunkturlage der Automobilindustrie auscite-ref-jahr2002-1-0[1].
